We are a Chicago Public School that has recently started our debut in the marching band world via parades in the city. This has opened up so much for this group of kids that had never experienced this before. The neighborhood is on the south side of Chicago called Back of the Yards. 

We are opening with For Whom the Bell Tolls, going to Nothing Else Matters with an Alto Sax solo, trombone solo and have the guitar solo transcribed for flute which go through a distortion pedal. Our closer is Enter Sandman with a driving Bari Sax Solo at the end.

Our 2024 program is entitled "At the Midnight Hour," and features music by Metallica.  

We are non-competitive HS band with just about 100 members.  Our goal is to create positive experiences through music-making and other types of hard work.  Our students are active throughout the year in concert band, jazz band, pit orchestra, wind ensemble, and other honors ensembles at the local and state level.  Our band has performed in Carnegie Hall, Central Park, Riverside Church in NYC, throughout the state of NJ (Monmouth Battlefield Site, Vietnam Veteran's Memorial, Trenton War Memorial & Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark) and in Philadelphia in the Chapel of Girard College.  Our band program has been recognized by the NJ State Legislature.  

The Kellam Band enjoys a rich tradition of more than 60 years of musical excellence within our community and has been honored as a 12-time Virginia ​Honor Band!  In addition to Superior level performances, the Kellam Bands have enjoyed collaborative efforts with Professor Emeritus Dennis Zeisler and the ​Old Dominion University Wind Ensemble, Dr. Douglas Owens and the ODU Jazz Orchestra, as well as numerous guest artists over the years.  The Kellam Band ​enjoys collaborative partnerships with the Virginia Wind Symphony, and the Virginia Arts Festival.  The Kellam Band is proud to offer a variety of ​performance ensembles and classes for our students each year, including our Wind Ensemble, Marching Knights, Jazz Ensemble, and our newly established Steel Drum Ensemble.  

We are a small rebuilding program that offers the students the chance to participate in several music groups such as marching band, jazz band, concert band, percussion ensemble, choir, string orchestra, pit orchestra and fusion ensemble. I am a one man show in (I run all this ensembles plus string orchestra and choir) in a fairly large high school in central jersey. Pre pandemic we had around 100 students participating in marching band, since we have suffered with low numbers and budget cuts just as much as any other school in the country. This year we finally saw the tide turn and the program seem to be on it's way back! 

Pocono Mountain East Marching Band (PMEMB). Has performed in the Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade, Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, 100th anniversary of the NYC Veterans Day Parade. PMEMB performs at all home and away football games, competes in the Cavalcade of Bands and is the largest organization in NEPA

The Richland High School Band is a two-time Bands of America Grand Nationals finalist, a two-time regional class champion, and a Regional Grand Champion. Richland has performed in UIL state finals five times winning the 2003 class 4A state championship. In 2010 Richland performed in the Tournament of Roses Parade with all Birdville ISD schools. In the TMEA Honor Band Contest Richland is a six-time state finalist finishing as high as second place on two occasions. In 2017 the band was a Featured Performing group at the Music for All National Concert Band Festival. The Richland High School Percussion performed as the 2016 Percussive Arts Society’s Showcase Ensemble and as a Featured Ensemble at the 2017 Sandy Feldstein National Percussion Festival. The band has earned the coveted UIL sweepstakes award 44 consecutive years. The Richland band is made up of a diverse community with many backgrounds. The Richland band prides itself in its mission to meet the needs of all students while striving for the best in  musical achievement. 

The Schaumburg High School Band Program is comprised of approximately 200 students who are involved in our four curricular concert bands, four extracurricular jazz groups, marching band, pep band, and percussion ensembles. The Saxon Marching Band is the largest student organization at Schaumburg High School, comprised of approximately 173 woodwind, brass, percussion, and guard members. 

The Seven Lakes Spartan Band has established itself as a prominent and competitive force in Texas music education since its founding in 2005. With the opening of Seven Lakes High School, the band quickly became a respected member of the 6A competitive scene. The Seven Lakes Wind Symphony earned national recognition in 2018 by performing as a Featured Band at the Music for All National Music Festival. Additionally, the band advanced as a 6A State Semifinalist in the prestigious TMEA Honor Band Competition in 2024.

The Seven Lakes Marching Band has consistently excelled in major competitions, becoming a Bands of America Finalist since 2018. The band also made history in 2024 by becoming a Bands of America Super Regional Finalist for the first time with their program titled, "For Whom The Bell Tolls". Furthermore, the Seven Lakes Spartan Band has been a regular participant in the UIL 6A State Marching Championships since 2018, and in 2024, they achieved a historic milestone by finishing as a State Finalist for the first time.

Sonia Sotomayor High School Band has been established since 2022 in the Far West Side of San Antonio, Texas. The band consists of a premier Marching Band program, vibrant Jazz Program and a highly successful Indoor Percussion and Color Guard program. 

We are a rural school in northeast Ohio with about 100 students per graduating class. Our music program has band in grades 5 through 12, a 7&8th grade choir, HS choir, HS showchoir, and HS Jazz Band.
Our marching band is non competitive, we perform during football game halftimes and a few other special performances throughout the year. After football season, we convert to concert band. 
Our students love doing songs they know and like, and are very excited to be participating in the Metallica Marching Band Competition! 

We are a completing Marching Band from New York City. The band was formed in 2015 and is excited to be performing Metallica's music again in 2024.

Nestled in a northern suburb of Detroit, the Stoney Creek Cougar Marching Band is a proud group of student musicians in grades 9-12 who perform regularly in our community and greater Metro-Detroit area.
